Our goal is to empower the community with the knowledge and resources to provide accurate information and to promote civic engagement for the immigrant families of Contra Costa County. In order to accomplish this goal, Stand Together Contra Costa is reaching out to numerous community organizations that routinely interact with immigrants and their families in Contra Costa. By building relationships with schools, health care providers, libraries, faith organizations, and other service providers, we will foster communication, community education, and enhance civic participation. In addition, Know Your Right cards and other due process resources are distributed amongst impacted families as a reference for unexpected interaction with Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).
